Meadow Lane School was opened on April 14, 1952. This was the second CUESD school built in Anderson and was built using financial resources of a $98,000 bond passed by our community. The Meadow Lane campus is built on an 11-acre tract, and the total cost to build Meadow Lane Elementary School was $378,130.83. In 1956, another bond was passed for $58,000 which helped to add 7 more classrooms onto the Meadow Lane campus. Portables have since been added, and renovations to roofing, paving, grounds, and fencing have been done. Solar arrays were added in 2020. Meadow Lane Elementary School will soon have renovated offices, cafeteria space, and an all-purpose room. We gratefully acknowledge our community for their support.
