If you are finding yourself having to input a password for a student when he or she attempts to take an Accelerated Reader quiz, it is likely that the Quizzing Allowed settings for your class are out of date and need to be updated.

Step 01) Logon to Renaissance Place and click the [Accelerated Reader] graphic.

Step 02) Click the [Preferences] link.

Step 03) Click the [Individual Student Settings] link at the bottom of the page.

Step 04) Select your school and class from the two drop-down menus.

Step 05) Click the [Edit Quizzing Allowed] link.

Step 06) Make any necessary changes to the range of values representing the allowed quizzes (per student). Naturally, higher values and ranges represent more advance material. These values should reflect a combination of the student’s reading level and your curriculum for the current trimester.

Step 07) Click the [Save] button at the top of the page when you are done.
